After a successful 25-year career in marketing, communications and business development within the private and public sectors, I decided to simplify my life and move back to my East Coast hometown. I started my own interior design and freelance writing business to put both my creative and strategic skills to use. On any given day you'll find me knocking out articles, blog posts and digital copy for clients. And probably rearranging furniture and decluttering. And listening to podcasts. Oh, and drinking coffee that whole time. But don't worry, it's decaf.
I have a BA in English, a post-grad in Public Relations and my own thriving online blog. Before going out on my own, I spent the last decade doing Advancement work for three universities across Canada and have an intimate understanding about how to build relationships with alumni, donors and prospective students. I've also been published in a major Canadian shelter magazine, guest blogged for large lifestyle sites and understand the online community.
